I'm all about telling Stories..
1. Not the Typical Poses
If you are wanting the typical, posed, smile for the camera shots, we probably aren't the best fit. That's okay though! You deserve a photographer that will fit your wants and needs. I all about telling stories with beautiful art. These photos will last a lifetime and even beyond that. Your children will look at them and their children will too. These photos will tell the story of the love that began its forever that day. I want to capture the emotion, the love, and the rawness of the day. I won't focus on getting your attention towards the camera but instead towards the moment.
2. For Generations to Come
I want these photos to be more than just one thing off your wedding checklist. This is something that will only increase in value as the years go by. These images will tell the story from the beginning for the future generations within your family. This investment for these photographs will pay for themselves and be treasured for lifetimes. I still have print outs of black and white images of my wedding hanging on our bedroom wall. I know one day my grandchildren will see these photographs and see the love that started this all as clear as what was felt on that wedding day.
3. I LOVE Weddings
I've met a number of photographers that up and coming that want nothing to do with wedding photography. Some photographers that are in it and don't enjoy the stress and some that got it for that same reason. Weddings used to be all about the prestige, power and money. Time has changed and the younger generation is shaking that up a bit. I love to photograph the beginning of it all. There's key moments in everyones lives that I believe everyone should get professional photos for and a wedding is at the top! There's no chance I would ever miss the chance to capture such a raw, emotional and powerful telling of a story in the art of a photograph.
We Tell the Story Together..
This is your story and you get to choose how it's written. I get to help with how it's told through photographs. I consider myself no different than an artist who uses an art brush to paint on an open canvas. These photographs mean so much to me just as they do you. I would absolutely love to be a small (but important) part of your story!
